About Alyx Fremento, MS
Alyx Fremento (they/them) is a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern in Florida with a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University.
Alyx began their career working with children and families in the foster care system, where they saw both the challenges of instability and the resilience people carry with them. That experience continues to guide their work today with children, teens, adults, and families.
Alyx's approach is trauma-informed and person-centered, with a strong belief that therapy should feel collaborative and supportive rather than one-size-fits-all. Alyx often incorporates CBT and DBT skills to help clients manage emotions, strengthen relationships, and build long-term stability.
Above all, Alyx aims to create a space where clients of all ages feel safe, understood, and empowered to explore who they are and what healing looks like for them
