About Denisse
Denisse is passionate about supporting individuals who have experienced traumatic events and is dedicated to creating a safe, compassionate space for healing and growth. Her professional background includes experience in inpatient psychiatric care, case management, and early childhood development through the Head Start program. During her clinical training in San Diego, she focused on providing therapeutic services to children and youth.
Originally from Cayey, Puerto Rico, Denisse earned her Bachelor’s degree in General Psychology from the University of Puerto Rico in Cayey and completed her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at National Louis University in Tampa. Denisse offers counseling services in both English and Spanish. Her approach is client-centered and trauma-informed, grounded in empathy, cultural sensitivity, and evidence-based practices.
