Individual Counseling for Adults & Children

Individual counseling encompasses a range of concerns, with each client receiving tailored therapy methods. Our therapists specialize in treating adults and children ages 4+.  They are skilled in addressing various issues, including stress, anxiety, depression, anger, self-esteem, relationship difficulties, trauma, grief, PTSD, ADHD, adjustment disorders, conduct disorders, and more.

Brief therapy proves effective for minor issues during periods of transition and change, while long-term therapy is recommended for clients requiring extended support. Every individual therapy journey, whether brief or extended, commences with an initial intake session. During this intake, the therapist conducts a comprehensive mental health assessment.

Subsequently, a treatment plan is developed based on the client's discussed goals during the intake and the therapist's mental health assessment. This plan serves as a guiding framework throughout the therapy process.

Family Therapy

Every family possesses its unique blend of strengths and weaknesses. Emphasizing these inherent family strengths serves as a solid foundation upon which to build. Often, families encounter challenges during significant life transitions, such as welcoming a new member, entering into a new marriage, coping with the loss of a loved one, or navigating through divorce. These periods of change require families to seek support and guidance to facilitate the healing process.

Family therapy encompasses a wide range of interventions, including enhancing communication, restructuring family dynamics, clarifying roles and routines, dedicating time to family bonding, conducting family meetings, engaging in role-playing exercises, addressing trauma, and processing grief and loss.

All forms of Family Therapy, whether brief or long-term, commence with an initial intake session. During this intake session, the therapist conducts a comprehensive

assessment. Drawing from the family's discussed goals during the intake and the therapist's assessment, a treatment plan is developed and subsequently serves as a guiding roadmap throughout the therapeutic journey.

Couples Therapy

Couples are dealing with tough decisions that really impact their families. Many get stuck in problems that hold them back personally and in their relationship. These issues cover a range of things like infidelity, problems in communication, money troubles, parenting challenges, thinking about divorce, and figuring out roles in the family.

In couples therapy, whether it's a short or long process, it all starts with each person in the relationship having a separate intake session with the therapist.  After these individual sessions, the couple comes together for joint sessions. The therapist listens to what the couple wants from these individual talks and their own assessment to create a plan. This plan is like a guide for the therapy journey.
